ATHENS - Listen to Jarius Wynn talk about Georgia's fall practices…

HOT, NOT BOTHERED: Richt has been pleased with how his team has held up under the summer heat wave. The temperature reached near 100 degrees Monday, and the Bulldogs moved their practice to their two artificial surface fields because the lack of rain has left their grass fields hard and dry. The problem with the artificial surface fields is they are almost 10 degrees warmer than the natural surface. "I tell you w hat, it's an understatement, but it was hot out there," Richt said. "Overall,I'm really pretty proud of how the guys have held up. I think our strength staff did a very good job of getting our guys in shape, especially considering it wasn't really hot this summer. Ironically, (the heat wave) started the very first day of practice." INJURY UPDATE: Cornerback Bryan Evans (hamstring) finally got full speed work Monday. He had been limited since the first week of practice. Junior defensive tackle Jarius Wynn is being slowed by a groin injury. Haverkamp probably won't return until Monday, Richt said.
