The Answer at Offensive Tackle?

Georgia fans on The Porch have been worried about the offensive tackle position for their beloved Bulldogs in both this year and the not so distant future. Chris Davis may be the answer to those questions for at least one of the tackle spots for Georgia.

Georgia fans on The Porch have been worried about the offensive tackle position for their beloved Bulldogs in both this year and the not so distant future. Chris Davis may be the answer to those questions for at least one of the tackle spots for Georgia.

At 6-5 and 270 pounds, Chris Davis is one of the most gifted big athletes on the field. He played tight end in high school and sometimes lined up at wide receiver.

He plays the game with an absolute mean streak, and sometimes got flagged for personal fouls. To borrow a good Southern Phrase - If they won't bite you as a puppy...

Well, there's no doubt that this freshman pup Bulldog is going to grow up to have a might bite for Neil Callaway at the offensive line position. With the athleticism to play wide receiver in high school, the size to play offensive tackle in college down the road, and the nasty streak that would make Dan Inman proud, Chris Davis is going to be fun to watch at Georgia the next five years.
