Four-Star OT Ready for FNL in the Swamp

No 7 Ranked OT Prospect

Isaiah Prince is one of the top offensive tackle prospects in America. He will visit the University of Florida this Friday for the annual Friday Night Lights camp in the Swamp. Prince is the No 7 ranked OT according to Scout.com checking in from Greenbelt (MD) Eleanor Roosevelt High School.

Four-star offensive tackle Isaiah Prince is squarely in the mix as far as the Florida Gator coaching staff is concerned. While he might not be talked about as much on Florida message boards he certainly is by the coaching staff behind closed doors. Prince will visit Florida on Friday for FNL. Prince talked about what it's like to be a top recruit, his game and what he hopes to get out of this trip.

"It gets really exciting sometimes," Prince said. "The attention feels good but then again it does get overwhelming because all of the text and phone calls."

Prince is a player that Florida coaches can make a big impression on this weekend. If things work they way they hope; the Gator coaches would take two more offensive tackles.

"I have a good relationship with the UF coaches," Prince said. "I think coach [Mike] Summers, [Brian] White and [Will] Muschamp are great coaches and reminds me of my coaches at Roosevelt."

Prince is looking forward to working with the coaching staff and getting a better feel for them.

The recruiting process could come down to one simple thing for Prince and his family, trust.

"Having people and coaches that I can trust and know that their best interests are in me and not just the football aspect," Prince said.

What does Prince thing about his overall game?

"I would say I have long arms," Prince said. "Really athletic for someone who weighs 280-pounds and good hips. I just need to work on footwork and pass protection footwork as well."
