DeAndre Wise is committed to Alabama A&M.

"First, it's a great school academically," Wise said of his decision. "It just felt like home when I visited. I fit in perfectly and I will most likely start as a freshman."

With a focus on academic success and life after football, Wise feels he'll bring an added dimension to the Bulldog team.

"I think I will bring a hard worker who will do whatever it takes to win," Wise said of his addition. "I am a great student in the classroom and a leader."

Wise made his verbal commitment to today, on the heels of a 5-1 start, which is the strongest at Alabama A&M since the 1960s.

"I think the program is going in a great direction," Wise said of his future. "Head Coach [Anthony Jones] will continue to make it better."
