ABH: Floyd Now Headed to Prep School

ATHENS - Less than a week after he was to report to Georgia Leonard Floyd found out he had to go another path.

Leonard Floyd, a four-star defensive end from Dodge County, told Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner Herald he would have to enroll at Georgia in January after spending the semester at a prep school.

Floyd had planned on being in Athens as a part of the football team this fall, but told Weiszer that the NCAA Clearinghouse would not permit him to play.

Floyd can technically sign with any NCAA school after a semester in prep school, but said he intends to enroll at Georgia in January.
