Evan Anderson made a list of ten colleges he was interested in at the request of his dad. Ole Miss was one of those ten. They began to evaluate them, all of them with strong baseball programs.

The finalists were Ole Miss and Nebraska. The Rebels won out as the 6-foot-4, 200-pound left-handed pitcher from Dale, Okla., committed to Ole Miss this week. "We sent emails out to those schools, and Coach (Carl) Lafferty sent us an email back," said Anderson, currently a junior at Dale High School who will sign with Ole Miss in November.
