| Biography: |
| Blessed with rare physical and emotional maturity, he has the skills to be an All-America player in just his second year of college football. Signed by Hofstra out of high school, he opted for pro baseball and spent the next four years in the Florida Marlins minor league system. After four years away from football, however, he returned with a bang last fall. A quarterback in high school, he has a rocket arm which makes him a threat to throw the flanker pass at any time. 2001 - Led Tennessee in catches (64) and receiving yards (1,010), while ranking second to Donte’ Stallworth in touchdowns (5) and yards per catch (15.8). Broke the school record with 256 receiving yards (on 11 catches) in Tennessee’s Game 3 defeat of LSU. Capped his debut season with six catches for 70 yards and two TDs in UT’s 45-17 Citrus Bowl blowout of MIchigan. |
