| 1999 - Punted 17 times for a 40.5 yard average during '99 season with a long of 55 yards vs. Vanderbilt...had three kicks over 50 yards...suffered foot injury late in season...set Georgia bowl record by averaging 48.0 yards per punt in Outback Bowl... broke old mark of 47.3 yards per kick set by Bucky Dilts in the 1977 Sugar Bowl game 2000 - outstanding season averaging 42.2 yards per punt including 13 of more than 50 yards including a long of 67 vs. Auburn....also had 15 punts inside the 20-yard line....his 42.2 average per punt ranked fourth in the SEC and 19th nationally....averaged 42.6 yards per kick, including a 64-yarder, in Georgia's 37-14 victory over Virginia in the 2000 Oahu Bowl. ...concluded the 2000 regular season with an SEC best 39.5 net average, which was also the third-highest mark in school history...placed 15 punts inside the 20-yard line 2001 - selected as a Ray Guy Award top ten finalist…was one of 10 finalists for the 2001 Ray Guy Award, presented annually to the best punter in college football....finished the regular season third in the SEC and 15th in the nation, averaging 43.7 yards per punt...named Football News Honorable Mention All-American....named Associated Press All-SEC honorable mention....selected as the 2001 special teams MVP....punted three times for a 43.7 yard average in Music City Bowl vs. Boston College.....Major: Education. |
