1999 - played reserve role at QB during '99 season...played in season opener vs. Utah State in which he completed his first and only pass for a 53-yard TD to Terrence Edwards

2000 - first career start vs. Kentucky filling in for injuryed QB Quincy Carter...responded by leading 'Dogs to victory and tying a school record with four TD passes as he completed 20x38 passes for 400 yards ...named USATODAY.com's National Player of the Week for his performance....also started the season's final three games including Georgia Tech game in which he completed 36x62 passes for 413 yards and two TD'scompleted 22 of 35 passes for 213 yards and one TD in Georgia's 37-14 victory over Virginia in the 2000 Oahu Bowl, Georgia's fourth consecutive bowl victory

2001 - Solid spring as the only returning QB with any game experience.....listed as co-number one at QB position at conclusion of spring drills....appeared in three games and completed nine of 20 passes for 140 yards, two touchdowns and one ineterception....was impressive in brief appearance vs. Arkansas State (Sept. 1), connecting on five of nine pass attempts for 101 yards and one touchdown (23 yards)....completed four of nine passes for 39 yards and one touchdown vs. Houston (Dec. 1)....recipient of Atlanta-Greensboro Endowed Football Scholarship....Major: Speech Communications.
