| High School: North Clayton...2000 USA Today All-USA Second Team....2000 Parade Magazine All-America Team..SUPERPREP Elite 50, All-America, and ranked as the top QB in the country....The AtlantaJournal-Constitution Super Southern 100, Top 50 in Georgia, Marvelous Metro Eleven and Class AAAAA All-State Quarterback....2000 Georgia Sports Writers Association Class AAAAA All-State Quarterback....threw for 1,861 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior, as well as rushing for 864 yards and eight more TDs....junior season threw for 1,352 yards and 17 touchdowns and added 733 yards on the ground with nine scores...three-year starter at North Clayton where father was coach...four-sport athlete that also excelled in baseball, basketball and track and field....High School Coach: Don Shockley.
College: 2001 - Redshirted....2002 - The redshirt freshman finally got his much anticipated debut in the season opener against Clemson. Shockley had three of his four passes connect with receivers for fifty-yards, including a 24-yard touchdown pass to Terrence Edwards. Shockley also proved to be mobile on his feet with five carries for 10 yards, including a 9 yard touchdown scramble....Major: Arts and Sciences.
