| 2003 -- Promising freshman whose playing time and development were hindered by a hamstring injury which caused him to miss five games: Alabama, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Florida and Auburn.....posted the first two catches of his collegiate career in the fourth quarter of the Middle Tennessee game.....grabbed two of his four receptions against LSU -- an 11-yarder in Baton Rouge during the regular season and a 10-yarder versus the Tigers in the SEC Championship game.....part of Georgia team that won 32 games from 2001-03 and ranked among the top five teams nationally in winning percentage....
2004 -- Two receptions for 20 yards in annual spring G-Day game....named to 2004 Southeastern Conference Freshman Academic Honor Roll.....played in all 11 games, earning two starts.....recorded 12 catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns, including two at Kentucky....caught career-long 53-yard pass vs. Georgia Tech....first career catch was 21-yard TD reception vs. LSU....two catches for 40 yards in 2005 Outback Bowl victory over Wisconsin....2004 SEC Academic Honor Roll....part of team that has posted 42-10 record from 2001-04 (sixth best in the country), three straight seasons of 10 or more wins, three straight bowl victories, and three consecutive national top six finishes...recipient of Leon Farmer, III, Endowed Football Scholarship |
