Coming Home

		By Dave McMahon Dawg Post Date: Sep 6, 2006 C.J. Byrd came to Georgia as a highly rated recruit. The South Carolina native was rated the 3rd best safety in the nation. Last season as a true freshman, Byrd had 8 tackles and won the Special Teams Newcomer of the Year Award. Last Saturday, he had 2 tackles in a reserve role. This weekend he will be playing for the first time in his home state. How will he do? We will soon find out.
