Curran left Georgia after his junior season in 2010. During the runup to the draft the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles were rumored to have the most interest in the Snellville native, but the AFC's Titans picked him late in the third round.
Curran was the only Bulldog taken in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. Florida (7), Alabama (5), Tennessee (3) and Ole Miss (2) all had more picks in the first three rounds than the Bulldogs; Kentucky and Vanderbilt both also had one pick each in the first three rounds. It is expected that Geno Atkins, Jeff Owens and Reshad Jones will be drafted Saturday in the final rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft.
