Pugh Transfers from Georgia

ATHENS - Georgia redshirt sophomore safety Makiri Pugh will transfer to another institution in order to seek more playing time according to an announcement Wednesday by Bulldog head coach Mark Richt.

A graduate of Independence High School in Charlotte, N.C., Pugh was redshirted in 2008 and played in nine games during the 2009 season recording two tackles.

³We are appreciative of Makiri¹s contributions during his two years at Georgia,² said Richt. ³We understand and support his decision to transfer and wish him great success the remainder of his career.²
