"We finished with two eight-play drives for some of the younger guys who don't get a lot of playing time," Richt continued. "(Jeremy) Longo made some plays. He has very active. I saw (Chase) Vasser make some nice tackles. We did have (Rantavious) Wooten play and he had a touchdown pass from (Aaron) Murray. Murray had a couple of nice runs on running plays and in scramble situations."
In addition, Richt announced that Charles White, a linebacker yet to see action this season after suffering an achilles injury in the spring, has moved to fullback and worked there during the scrimmage.
"We got a taste of Charles White at fullback," Richt said. "He's definitely just trying to find his way and get a little experience."
Richt also laid out the Bulldogs' plans for the remainder of the week.
"Tomorrow we'll run and get a lift in. The coaches will be on the road recruiting," Richt said. "We'll come back on Thursday with another practice and begin to implement the game plan (for Florida) a little bit. We'll still get some good fundamental work in and may scrimmage again with the young guys. We'll have an early-morning lift on Friday and then they'll be free until Sunday."
The Bulldogs will enjoy an open date on Saturday.
"It's always and advantage to have an open date," Richt said. "I don't think an open date after game one is necessarily a good thing. In a 12-game season, somewhere in the mid-point is good. This year, it came in a good position for us. You always want it prior to an Eastern Division foe it you can, but we can't always control that."
