LSU Week: Tuesday Practice Report

ATHENS - Georgia practiced in full pads for just over two and a half hours on Tuesday afternoon as they continue to prepare for this Saturday's road game at No. 11 LSU (5-1, 3-1 SEC).

"We had very good effort all around," head coach Mark Richt said following the session. "It was a very good Tuesday practice."

Richt took part in the Bulldogs' weekly press conference earlier on Tuesday afternoon where he discussed the challenges of facing the defending national champions on the road.

"We are going to Baton Rouge and one of the most storied stadiums in the country, a place I can truthfully say is the loudest place I¹ve ever been," Richt said. "They are very well coached. It¹s going to be a great challenge and a very, very difficult challenge for us. They have won more games than anybody else in our league the last five years. They have won two national championships and three SEC Championships recently. Coach (Les) Miles is winning at a rate that is unprecedented in the league. They are big, strong, fast and talented. They are really, really good." Recommended Stories
