"I wish it was hotter," Richt quipped while walking off the practice field Tuesday with temperatures in the mid-60s.
Georgia practiced for two and a half hours in full pads as the Bulldogs continue to install their game plan for this weekend's matchup with the Sun Devils in Tempe.
Earlier on Tuesday, the cooler temperatures already were a topic of conversation during Georgia's weekly press conference when Richt was asked if the weather was a concern.
"It is for me," he said. "I'm sure the players will be happy that it is cool. (Director of Sports Medince) Ron Courson has talked to a lot of people about the weather and how to handle it. It takes longer than a day or two to acclimatize to whether it is going into humidity or going into a lack of humidity."
Richt also discussed the challenges Arizona State presents.
"They are returning 39 lettermen," Richt said. "Coach (Dennis) Erickson has won a couple of national championships at Miami, my alma mater. Being on teams that have coached against him in the past, he is a very innovative coach. He is one who does a fantastic job of getting his personnel in the right spots. I was reading their media information and I saw where he has been responsible for stopping streaks of three teams that had 10 or more straight wins. Now all of a sudden we have hit the magic number, 10, and I\'d5m sure they are going to bring that up to their team, and he will have confidence to stop our streak right now.
