Tonight, we worked on introducing the kicking plan and working out any soreness the guys might have. We need a good week of preparation, and we got off to a good start tonight.²
Earlier Monday, the league office announced that Curran has been named the Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Curran had six tackles and added a sack and two quarterback pressures against the Gamecocks. Curran highlighted his performance by forcing a fumble late in the fourth quarter when he drilled South Carolina¹s Mike Davis on the Georgia 1-yard line. Georgia teammate Asher Allen recovered the fumble in the end zone to help clinch the win.
