ATHENS – A DUI charge filed against Clint Boling has been dropped, according to paperwork filed in Alpharetta Municipal Court.

Boling pleaded guilty to reckless driving, a non-alcohol traffic charge on Tuesday July 22th. The result of the court proceedings means that Boling is no longer in violation of Athletic Association policy, which would have resulted in him missing a mandatory ten percent of the season.

Georgia head coach Mark Richt suspended Boling on July 3rd for two games (which is what Richt has done for all previous DUI cases) as a result of the arrest, but that was before the DUI charge was dropped.

Boling denied drinking at the time of his arrested and refused to take a breathalyzer test the night of the arrest.

Sources close to the situation say that Boling has completed all community service required of him for the violation.
