Moreno & Ellerbe lead All-SEC Dawgs

Knowshon Moreno and Dannell Ellerbe were first team All-SEC selections as named by the conference’s coaches today. Moreno was one of only seven players to be unanimously selected by the coaches. Those two were the only first team selections for the Bulldogs. Florida has five first team selections to lead the conference. LSU was second with four. The Tigers were first overall with 14 selections to all three teams. Florida followed with ten. Georgia was third with nine.

Georgia’s second team selections were as follows: QB Matthew Stafford, WR Mohamed Massaquoi, DT Geno Atkins, DB Asher Allen. The Dawgs’ third team selections were: DT Jeff Owens, LB Rennie Curran, P Brian Mimbs
