ATHENS – Georgia’s post-season baseball run will continue at least one more game.

The Bulldogs avenged their upset loss to Lipscomb with a 14-3 win on Sunday afternoon. The reward? A Sunday night fight with hated Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs will have to defeat the Jackets tonight and Monday night in order to advance to the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Dawgs powered their way to the afternoon win by jumping on the Bison early. Georgia scored four runs in the first and two in the second to grab a decisive lead. Lipscomb added one run in the third, fourth and fifth innings, but Georgia put up six more runs in the fourth and fifth to put the game totally out of reach.

The Tech-Georgia game was set for a 6 PM start.
