"I'm kind of glad what I did, but I'm not surprised," King said. "I'm a football player, so I believe every time I hit the field I can produce."
King had nifty runs of 8, 9 and 12 yards, showing off several athletic moves to make defenders miss.
"I thought he looked pretty darn good," head coach Mark Richt said. "I also saw him pick up a couple blitzes too, which I always enjoy."
"I was pleased with how he ran the ball, made people miss," offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said. "He's got good balance and good vision, and I'm pleased with his progress. We're going to have to count on him a lot this year."
