Got Knowshon Withdrawal?

ATHENS - Sophomore Knowshon Moreno will dress out and start Saturday’s G-Day game, but he probably won’t break a sweat. Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo would like to limit Moreno to five or fewer carries today, he said.

“We’re not going to completely hold him out,” Bobo said, “but we have to be smart with how we play him. He is vital to our continuity on offense. He gives us energy, and he gives us confidence when he’s out there.”

Moreno had 1,334 yards last year. Bobo wants to limit his chance of injury and get a longer look at young running backs Caleb King, Richard Samuel and Dontavius Jackson.
