Gilliard can't make Georgia Junior Day

The last time we spoke with Gillard he had nine offers and has since added two more in the last couple of weeks.

The most notable offers coming from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Illinois, Miami and Florida.

The talented linebacker from Valdosta High School is not afraid to pick some favorites from his stellar offer sheet.

“Right now, of course, its Georgia and Georgia Tech, and I also like Florida.”

When asked about comparing the Gators and Dawgs Mike wasn’t giving awayany clear cut favorite between the two. “Basically both have great facilities and both coaching staffs are openwhich I really like. Both schools have great environments and like my coaches said I couldn’t go wrong with choosing either school.”

Gillard has already been to Georgia and Florida for visits. He has visits planned to Georgia Tech and South Florida in the next few weeks. Don’t expect a commitment immediately but also don’t plan on this prize recruit to wait until signing day to commit.

“I definitely don’t want to rush a decision. I want to take my visits and look at each school. I’m going to wait until the time is right and I think I will know when that is.”
