ATHENS -Receiver Tavarres King talks about his future at Georgia

Select Quotes:

I have gained seven pounds, so I will probably be bigger by the time spring and the season starts.

On getting bigger: I think it’s a key for everyone. Getting stronger, faster and better – its key.

On college: I like being on my own, and making my own decisions. It’s fun to grow up.

On the commitment string that happened after his: I talked with a bunch of guys and did a little recruiting. I stayed on A.J. Harmon. We texted each other all of the time. I would see him up here, and I would say to him: “You know that you want to be up here. When my Dad and I would go to a Clemson game he would say: “You know you want to be here…” We would just give each other grief.

On challenges for this spring: I think the off-season is important. Getting my body and mind right is important. I just want to learn. I want to get into the film room and looking at that.
