Wisconsin Game: Kendall's Look at the Game

Josh Kendall's look at Georgia's basketball game at Wisconsin.

Georgia vs. Wisconsin

6:30 p.m. Saturday, Madison, Wis.

Records: Georgia 3-0, Wisconsin 4-0

Last game: Georgia beat Elon 76-65, Wisconsin beat Colorado 78-52

The scouting report: The Bulldogs take the road for the first time this year against the team that is just outside the Top 25 rankings. Georgia’s start is the best of the four-plus season Dennis Felton-era, but none of the competition it has faced has prepared it for the Badgers. This series, the first game of which was played last year in Athens, was set because Bulldogs senior center Dave Bliss is a Wisconsin native. This game will be an excellent showcase for senior point guard Sundiata Gaines, who leads the team in points, rebounds, steals and minutes and is one assist shy of the team record. Georgia’s freshmen have scored 35.1 percent of the season’s points. Sophomore guard Trevon Hughes leads the Badgers with 19.8 points per game.

Next for Georgia: vs. Delaware State at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Athens
