NEWS OF THE DAY: Georgia’s fans should be proud of themselves this season, Richt said.

“It seems like there is a different spirit this year than there has been other years,” Richt said. “It just feels more like a real close-knit family or a stronger connection between the fans and the team this year. I’m not trying to say it was ever bad, but especially after that blackout thing, it was a pretty awesome sight.”
