"It was a good practice and we had nice weather," head coach Mark Richt said. "The guys were really excited today. They are excited about playing an in-state rival. It's going to be a battle."
Richt held his game week press conference at Stegeman Coliseum earlier in the day and discussed the excitement surrounding this weekend's match-up.
"What can you say, it's Georgia vs. Georgia Tech," Richt said. "It's a game everyone gets excited about. I'm sure both teams are getting fired up and ready. I know our guys are getting excited about the opportunity to play. We have a lot of respect for Georgia Tech and what they have done with their football program. They are outstanding team this year. This should be a great game. Hopefully, the weather will hold out."
Forecasts for Saturday include possible rain with highs in the mid 50s and lows in the high 30s.
