ATHENS - A look at the day's events as Georgia gets ready for Tennessee.

NEWS OF THE DAY: Middle linebacker Marcus Washington, who is third on the team with 23 tackles, will miss at least this week's game and possibly the Oct. 13 game against Vanderbilt due to a separated shoulder, he said Monday. Washington was injured against Ole Miss. Safety Kelin Johnson, who suffered a concussion and right shoulder injury against Ole Miss, doesn't expect to see any contact in today's practice but said he definitely will play against the Volunteers. Offensive lineman Scott Haverkamp did not practice Monday.
