Alabama Girls
Posted Sep 29, 2007

ATHENS - Dean Legge makes his weekly picks for the 23 schools in the South.

1. LSU – Just better than everyone else - that is clear…
2. Florida – Look vulnerable... probably glad to be playing pitiful Auburn.
3. Clemson – Should beat Tech... still holding breath waiting for the collapse
4. Kentucky – Next to South Florida, the national surprise…
5. Georgia – Win at Bama positions Dawgs - not out of SEC East race yet…
6. Virginia Tech - Wonder when they lose... these guys are not that great...
7. Alabama – Not as good as they thought. Dawgs should have won by more than ten…
8. South Carolina – Two difficult games in Columbia in a row; better watch State...
9. Florida State – Not a very good offense…

10. Miami – Big win over A&M - Are Canes back? Not totally…
11. Arkansas – Bad loss to Cats means SEC West hopes are doomed…
12. Tennessee – Rest and wait for Dawgs this week...
13. Wake Forest – Nice comeback vs. Terps…
14. Mississippi State – Can beat Carolina - will they? Probably not...
15. Maryland – Again, this program is very so-so...
16. Vanderbilt – Should beat directional school... then Auburn - winnable games…
17. Ole Miss – Need to bring same intensity as last week - and then some…
18. Auburn – I can't see them beating Florida without a Gator meltdown...
19. Virginia – Beat Jackets (again) in Charlottesville - nothing new there...
20. N.C. State – Not a great program…
21. Georgia Tech – Should get drilled today...
22. Duke – A win - what? Duke won?
23. Wofford – Beat App State...
