ATHENS - A look at the day's events as Georgia gets ready for Alabama.

NEWS OF THE DAY: Marcus Washington is working with the starters at middle linebacker and Dannell Ellerbe is now the first-teamer on the weak side, linebackers coach John Jancek said. Akeem Dent and Brandon Miller are splitting time on the first-team offense at strongside linebacker, and Darius Dewberry is working as the No. 2 weak side linebacker, Jancek said.
