2007 Fall Camp: Day Two Headquarters

Georgia held it’s second of many fall camp practices today. Here is the run down of what happened:

Quote of the day: “Where ever I go I want to be the best. At Georgia, especially, Herschel Walker set the bar way up here, and its kid of hard to top that.” – Running back Thomas Brown when asked if he thought where he would be in the Georgia record books had he not suffered an ACL tear last season.

Note of the day: Sophomore Geno Atkins is still working at starting defensive tackle alongside Jeff Owens, but defensive coordinator Willie Martinez said that spot is still open.

2007 Fall Camp: Day Two Practice Report Staff Reports of DawgPost.com, Aug 5, 2007 ATHENS - Thunder, lightning and a brief rainstorm interrupted the Georgia Bulldogs' second practice of the fall on Sunday afternoon. The Dogs returned to their locker room about 30 minutes into the session due to lightning. They returned approximately an hour later and worked out for another hour and a half, trimming five periods from the original practice plan.   Full Story
