³It¹s going to be an exciting year for us we are genuinely excited about the year ahead,² said Georgia head coach Mark Richt. ³We have a lot of unknowns and that probably makes it a little more exciting, but we are working hard.²
Georgia will practice in helmets and shorts again on Sunday and then will wear shells Monday through Wednesday. Thursday, Aug. 9, will mark the firsttwo-a-day practice with the Bulldogs donning full pads in the morning session.
³We have 29 practice opportunities until our first ball game and we will try to be ready for that moment,² Richt added. ³I like the way we finished theyear, I like the momentum we carried through the off-season, in spring ball and through the summer, and our guys look like they are in great shape.²
Justin Houston, the 6-3, 224-pound freshman from Statesboro, moved from defensive end to linebacker and worked out with that group on Saturday.
