Three Dawgs in Scout.com National 100

ATHENS – Georgia has been on a recruiting roll of late, but three of its earliest commitments were honored today by being listed on the Scout.com National 100.

Summerville (SC) wide receiver A.J. Green, Statesboro defensive tackle Deangelo Tyson and Cass running back Richard Samuel were all named to the list, which was released today.

Green was ranked number six nationally. He is behind only one other wide receiver, Julio Jones from Foley, Alabama. Green is considered the top player in South Carolina by Scout.com.

Tyson, considered the 17th-best player in the country, is the top defensive tackle in the country. He is also considered the top player in Georgia by Scout.com

Samuel's debuted on the list at #89. He is considered the fourth-best player in Georgia, and is the ninth-best running back in the nation.

Uncommitted wide receivers Brice Butler (#39) and Josh Jarboe (#78) are the only other two players from the Peach State to make the National 100 list.

Of the top ten players in Georgia all but three are committed to the Bulldogs. Clemson commit A.J. Harmon is the only player in the top ten committed to a place other than Georgia at this time.
