Dent to undergo surgery on Friday

ATHENS - University of Georgia redshirt freshman linebacker Akeem Dent of Atlanta suffered a broken metatarcel bone in his left foot during a workout earlier this week.

Dent will undergo surgery on Friday and a full recovery is expected by the fall according to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson.
