ATLANTA – Georgia sophomore offensive linemen Seth Watts has been suspended from the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

The Washington County native did not travel with the team to Atlanta for bowl preparations. “He just did not behave well enough to play in this game,” Coach Mark Richt said.

Watts played in every game this year but only sparingly as a backup guard. He will rejoin the team after his one-game suspension and be back in Richt’s good graces for spring practice, Richt said.

Georgia’s players met Monday night in Atlanta and began practice for their Saturday matchup against No. 14 Virginia Tech on Tuesday morning in the Georgia Dome.
