Goodman out for season with ACL

ATHENS - University of Georgia redshirt sophomore wide receiver Demiko Goodman suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in hisleft knee during Saturday’s game against Kentucky.

The injury occurred in the second quarter. According to Georgia Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson, the injury will require surgery and he will be lost for the remainder of the season; however, a full recovery is expected.

Goodman, a native of Newnan, had 13 receptions for 187 yards while playing in all ten games this season.
