| Kentucky Week: Practice Reports | ||||
|
ATHENS - The Georgia Bulldogs concluded another week of practice on Thursday with a two-hour workout at the Woodruff Practice fields. | ||||

Georgia is set to meet Kentucky for the 60th time since 1939 with the Bulldogs leading the series 47-10-2. Last year, Georgia posted a 45-13 win over the Wildcats in Athens. The Bulldogs have won nine straight in the series, with the Wildcats¹ last win coming in 1996 in Lexington (24-17). "We're getting ready for Kentucky and I think it's going to be a heck of a ballgame,² said head coach Mark Richt. ³Our guys are really looking to get back on the winning track. They know we still have a lot to play for and I think the spirit of our defense returned against Florida." Richt mentioned before Thursday¹s practice that junior guard Chester Adams (ankle) will not make the trip to Lexington. Senior Michael Turner started in Adams¹ spot against Mississippi State and looks to fill that role again on Saturday. |
