ATHENS - The Georgia Bulldogs held their final practice of the week at Sanford Stadium on Thursday, working out in helmets and shorts as artificial noise played over the sound system. | ||||

Georgia (6-2, 3-2) travels to Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday to face the No. 9-ranked Florida Gators (6-1, 4-1). The Bulldogs hold a 46-36-2 edge in the series which dates back to 1904 including 39-33-1 in Jacksonville. Richt said prior to Thursday's workout that Ramarcus Brown (hamstring), Chester Adams (ankle) and Martrez Milner (toe) will all play this weekend. ³The thing for Chester, Martrez and Ramarcus is they could fatigue as the game goes on,² said Richt. ³We¹ll have to keep an eye on that.² Freshman Matthew Stafford will get his fourth start of the year at quarterback, having led the Bulldogs to three wins over UAB, Colorado and Mississippi State. The backup quarterback position for Saturday, Richt said, has not been determined. ³Mike (Bobo) and I just haven¹t talked about it. Joe Tereshinski and Joe Cox had equal snaps in practice this week,² Richt said. |
