The Bednarik award is given annually to the Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year. Currently, Moses has made 25 tackles, nine tackles for a loss of
34 yards, three sacks for a loss of 20 yards and has logged 21 quarterback pressures.
Moses is also a semifinalist for the Rotary Lombardi Award, presented by the Houston Rotary Club, to the offensive or defensive lineman who, in addition to outstanding performance and ability, best exemplifies the discipline of Vince Lombardi.
Georgia has had one other previous winner of both the Bednarik Award and the Lombardi Award. Defensive end David Pollack, Moses¹ predecessor, won both accolades in 2004. Pollack is now a member of the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.
