Georgia meets Vanderbilt in a Homecoming showdown on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Bulldogs have won the last 11 meetings with the Commodores and have also won their last 11 Homecoming games in Sanford Stadium. ³It will be nice to get out and play again,² said head coach Mark Richt. ³It¹s never fun to have a loss and the next week is always a struggle. I think the guys did a good job with effort (this week), but it will definitely be nice to play another game.² Richt also said that the starting running back spot for Saturday¹s game remains undetermined. ³Both (Thomas Brown and Kregg Lumpkin) are No. 1 guys,² said Richt. ³They¹ve both been starters and even Danny (Ware) has too. Hopefully Danny will get some more work.² It was announced Thursday that Richt has been named a coach for the 2007 Hula Bowl. The game is scheduled for Jan. 14 in Aloha Stadium. |
