ATHENS - A few very quick notes from Georgia's huge recruiting weekend.

Georgia hosted between 120 and 150 high school football players during game. It was not the team’s biggest recruiting weekend of the season (that was the UAB game), but it was the most prestigious.

Some of the most high-profile recruits in the Southeast – including running back Caleb King, cornerback Eric Berry, defensive ends Neland Ball and Cliff Matthews, offensive linemen Clint Boling and Trinton Sturdivant and tight ends Bruce Figgins and Aron White – attended the game as official visitors.

Berry, who is ranked the nation’s No. 1 cornerback by Scout.com, got the red carpet treatment in the form of a pre-game conversation with athletic director Damon Evans. King is considered the nation’s No. 3 running back by Scout.com. He still is considering Georgia, Auburn, Southern Cal, Notre Dame, Florida and Tennessee.

Boling, Sturdivant, Figgins and White all have made verbal commitments to the Bulldogs.

LEGGE'S NOTE: A.J. Green (2008) has verbally committed to Georgia.
