As Dawg fans remember, Mikey Henderson had a big G-Day game and was supposed to be a deep threat for Georgia's receiving game. Unfortunately for Georgia the junior from Buford pulled his hamstring in the first game. Henderson did returned last week in a limited role. He should play more this week and earlier he talked about his return to the field.
Dave McMahon
-- Must feel good to be back... How do you feel?
Mikey Henderson
-- I feel good. My hamstring feels good. I just have to try to keep getting better.
DM
-- And you got to return some punts again...
MH
-- That felt good and Coach Richt said I looked good, too.
DM
-- How bad does this wide receiver corp need a big play?
MH
-- We need it a lot. We really need to step it up. We got to continue working hard everyday.
DM
-- What extra drills can wide receivers do?
MH
-- In the summer we do more, but now we have time constraints. Some things we do extra is the tennis ball drill and sometimes we catch the ball off the jugs.
DM
-- What did you learn from being out in those games you missed?
MH
-- I watched the receivers routes and the players reacted during the game. It was a learning experience.
DM
-- Thank you for your time and answers.
