TIFTON — A high school football player usually dreams of a chance to play at a major Division I…
ScoutTV - Georgia Bulldog WR Commitment
More times than not it was Izzy Troupe.
Troupe is more than just a combine warrior though, he is a fluid receiver in his pads as well. After watching the Atlanta Falcons wide receivers futile attempts at getting separation or catching the ball with their hands on Monday Night Football, it was refreshing to see a high school player do just that.
On back to back plays against Collins Hill, Troupe did something that I can't remember the last time I saw a Falcon do: He came back for the ball on an out rout making a diving catch, and then on the subsequent play, he extended in the endzone for a diving touchdown grab.
I've seen a lot of great athletes struggle with the nuances of playing the receiver position. This is a wide receiver that also happens to be a great athlete.
Bulldog fans are going to enjoy this presentation by ScoutTV*, I know I did.
#11 WR Israel Troupe
