Colorado Week: Kendall's Three Keys

ATHENS - Josh Kendall's three keys to Georgia's game with Colorado.

Don’t give the Buffs hope

Colorado’s players will figure out Dan Hawkins’ system eventually. A few big plays early on offense could give them the confidence they need to finally take that step. Georgia can delay that with another quick start on defense.

Get some offensive momentum.

Georgia has yet to get rolling on offense under freshman quarterback Matthew Stafford. The way Colorado’s offense has been playing, the Bulldogs might not need to score many points today, but they need to learn that they can because tougher tests await.

A paper-thin offensive line and a gimpy receiving corps don’t need any more bad news. So far, the Bulldogs have avoided the kind of big injury that struck Tennessee (losing defensive tackle Justin Harrell), and they want to keep that up, particularly at their two thinnest positions.
