ATHENS - Josh Kendall takes a look at the three keys in Georgia's game with UAB. | |||
|
Practice what you preach Georgia has said all the right things about not overlooking today’s Conference USA opponent, just like it did the last time UAB came to town. On that day, the Bulldogs escaped with a three-point win. The Bulldogs’ best game, or close to it, will beat UAB no problem, but anything in the average range could mean trouble. Make it easy for Matthew Stafford Georgia’s wide receivers need to step up and help their freshman quarterback. They have to make the easy catches and maybe save a few interceptions if Stafford throws into tight coverage as often as he did against South Carolina. Match Blazers’ toughness UAB’s players will come into the game wanting to make a statement, and they’ll fire out of the blocks from the start. If Georgia’s players show any signs of taking a step backward, it will only encourage the underdog. |
