Former Defensive Coordinator Passes Away

The defensive coordinator for Georgia's 1980 Natinoal Championship team has passed away.

Erk Russell has died accroding to a report from WTOC, a television station in Savannah.

Russell spent 17 years in Athens under Vince Dooley before going to Georgia Southern. He lead the Eagles to three national titles.
