ATHENS The SEC office announced Monday that Georgia senior Quentin Moses has been named the league's Defensive Lineman of the Week. | |||
|
In Georgia's 48-12 victory over Western Kentucky, Moses had three total tackles which included 2.5 TFLs, one sack and three quarterback hurries. The Athens, Ga., native has 21.5 sacks in his career, ranking him sixth on the all-time Georgia list. David Pollack (2001-04) has the record of 36. Quentin Moses was twice named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week in 2005, and he is currently on the watch lists for the Bednarik and Walter Camp Awards and the Nagurski Trophy. |
