Lomax gaining on scales

ATHENS – Jeremy Lomax was considered a project when he was being recruited by the Bulldogs in 2004. Unfortunately, not much has happened to change that label since he arrived on campus. Depth and injuries have limited Lomax's time on the playing field, and now, after adding weight, he's fighting to get onto the field as much as possible in 2006.

But that won't be any easy thing to do. Georgia has two of the top defensive ends in the country, with Lomax behind potential All-American Quentin Moses and Charles Johnson on one side of the defensive line.
