Terence Edge was the top offensive lineman at the Scout.com Combine held in Atlanta earlier this spring. With only two years of football under his belts, schools are waiting to see him as a senior, but Edge talks about the schools he is hearing from and would like to hear more from.
Despite losing his head coach and virtually all of the assistants this spring, Tri-Cities lineman
Terence Edge
feels good about the upcoming season.
"Our team is working very hard and we are confident that things will go well this season," said Edge.
Edge was scheduled to attend the
Georgia
camp last weekend, but with the turnover at his high school, he was unable to attend. Several schools have been in touch with Edge, but two are keeping the closest tabs.
"I heard from Georgia,
Auburn
,
Alabama
,
Georgia Tech
, and
Tulane
. Tulane and Alabama are making the most contact right now. No one has offered yet, but those are the five schools I'd like to visit for sure."
Edge showed out at the Scout.com Combine in Atlanta, and schools seem to be waiting to see if his good work translates to production on the field. He is one of the most physically gifted big men in the Peach State. He has only played football for two years, and a full season as a starter is just what the colleges are looking for.
